ABOUT US

What is this site about?

Over the years the Space Science Institute has created a number of online exhibits on space science. We've decided to collect some of the games and activities from these sites on to this portal. You can run them by themselves, or open them in the context of the full exhibit.

Space Science Institute

The unique mission of the Space Science Institute (SSI) is to integrate scientific research with education and public outreach. Our research program includes earth science, space physics, planetary science, and astrophysics. SSI’s National Center for Interactive Learning (NCIL) develops science and technology exhibits for museums, science centers, and libraries; develops educational websites and software interactives; provides professional development for formal and informal educators; and conducts learning research and evaluation for the education community. NCIL programs are aligned with the national education standards in science, math, and technology.
