ABOUT US What is this site about? Over the years the Space Science Institute has created a number of online exhibits on space science. We've decided to collect some of the games and activities from these sites on to this portal. You can run them by themselves, or open them in the context of the full exhibit.   The Space Science Institute The unique mission of the Space Science Institute is to integrate scientific research with education and public outreach. Our research program includes earth science, planetary science, and astrophysics. As part of our education and public outreach (EPO) program, we develop science exhibits for museums; develop educational websites and computer kiosks, provide professional development for formal and informal educators; and create instructional materials and classroom activities that are aligned with the national education standards in science, math, and technology. Our EPO programs benefit greatly from the active involvement of research scientists.   Support These activities were developed with funding from the National Science Foundation, NASA, and other organizations.
